Yes, Mechanical Engineering is an evergreen branch. All field need a Mechanical Engineer, (including Electrical, Civil, and other fields). Mechanical Engineering itself is also a Vast Branch of Engineering, A Mechanical Engineer can be employed in Aeronautical, Automobile, Production, Software etc. The institution which you take the course plays a major role here along with the Knowledge you gain, So choose a best institution (like IISc, IIT, or top colleges) be strong in basic and other concepts….

I am a first year mechanical Engineering student. What should I do other than securing good marks to have better employment opportunities?

Good Marks may be important but Knowledge is more important than Marks Do some value courses like Design, Mechatronic, Do In-plant Training/Internships when you have time in your academic years. Also do apprenticeship training (if not selected in Campus interview/didn’t get any job/while preparing for govt. exams). Do Projects by yourself and have sound knowledge on your project

I'm a BE mechanical engineer pass out 2015. What should I choose: a job or a design engineering course?

I'm a B.Tech mechanical graduate with an extended degree of 5 years and 67% and 5 cleared backlogs. Can I pursue IES/GATE?

I can’t judge this, If you have cleared after 5 years (that is 4 + 1 years), your degree will be second class degree, as per my knowledge. Second class degree is not recognized or approved by government for Jobs (Most People write GATE | IES (now ESE) for govt jobs). But you can write exams and get score which may help you to get Private Jobs in a High Profile Company…. If your degree is recognized as First Class degree then you will get a Government Job. Which 3 tips do you recommend to students preparing for the Engineering Services Exam (ESE) and GATE?

Firstly, have schedule and follow it. It is a toughest thing while preparing for any Exam. Read the Important concept and understand it Revise as many as time you can do Make your own notes Another Answer Why only 3 tips? The question should be some tips. Anyway, I'm giving you some tips: Don't forget to revise ESE previous year book at least 3 times. Don't forget to join offline test series. You should attempt every test in a manner like you are attempting a real paper Try to solve problems as much as you can. Every question is important. There may be a big change on the behalf of 1–2 questions Revision is the main key. Hence revise every subject on a regular period. Try to write down your silly mistakes in your notebook . You should revise them too. Believe in yourself. Be confident. The student like you only clears the exam. You can do it. Thanks!

What Is a Galaxy?

The Short Answer: A galaxy is a huge collection of gas, dust, and billions of stars and their solar systems, all held together by gravity. We live on a planet called Earth that is part of our solar system. But where is our solar system? It’s a small part of the Milky Way Galaxy. A  galaxy  is a huge collection of gas, dust, and  billions  of stars and their solar systems. A galaxy is held together by gravity. Our galaxy, the Milky Way, also has a  supermassive black hole  in the middle.   When you look up at stars in the night sky, you’re seeing other stars in the Milky Way. If it’s really dark, far away from lights from cities and houses, you can even see the dusty bands of the Milky Way stretch across the sky. There are so many, we can’t even count the...
